Location: Ben Avery Shooting Facility FITA Target Range

Tournament Rules: Current World Archery FITA Rules for 36 arrow qualifying round and Team Round Rules with modifications below.

Dress Code will be enforced.

Eligibility: All archers must be registered with USA Archery. Temporary Membership allowed, see USA Archery Website.

Awards: All divisions down to 3rd place

Type of Shoot: Team rounds

Rules and Divisions
• Seniors and Masters are combined, Junior and Cadet are combined, Cub and Bowmen are combined
• Recurve and Compounds are not combined
• 3 person teams only for Compound, 2 or 3 person teams allowed for recurve may have 1 alternate at time of registration. Final team members set prior to start of qualifying
round. No substitutions after registration of team.
• Seniors & Masters, Juniors & Cadets shoot 50 Meters, Bowmen & Cub shoot 30 Meters.
• Recurve shoot 122cm target face
• Compound shoot 80cm 6 ring target face
• 2 Minute ends, arrow shot in 1,1,1,1,1,1 format
• Teams must be from same JOAD club or staff shooters from Pro Shop and declared at registration
• Age of team is set by oldest member of team
• If an archer is of JOAD age but not registered in a JOAD club they must shoot in the Senior/Master division and be a staff shooter from a Pro Shop
• No archer can shoot more than 2 arrows in an end
• Barebow is considered Recurve
• JOAD Clubs and Shops may have more than one team per division
• Small JOAD clubs wishing to participate (less than 10 members) may contact Rick Bachman for pick up teams
• JOAD and Shop team shirts must be worn listing club or shop name
• No Denim period. Camo allow if it is a small part of team shirt
• Qualifying round is 36 arrows, all team members must shoot their own 36 arrow round
• Team rankings are set by combining total of all three team members, ranked teams high to low. Each division ranked separately
• Recurve set scoring system used
• Double Elimination
• Each team may have one coach. The coach is responsible insuring all team members know the rules.
• An archer can be a member of only 1 team

Chairs and Shade: Ben Avery has covered canopies and a very small amount of seating. Bringing chairs is highly suggested.

Saturday October 11th
• 8:00 AM Archer Check in and equipment inspection
• 8:30 AM Official Practice
• 9:00 AM 36 Arrows Qualifying round (approx 90min)
• 10:30 AM Team Rankings and Lunch
• 11:30 AM Team Rounds Start
• End of Day

Sunday October 12th
• 8:30 AM Official Practice
• 9:00 AM Team Rounds Start
• 11:00 AM Lunch
• Awards follow end of team rounds

All registration must be done on-line. Payment must be made via PayPal on-line. No registration day of tournament.
Tournament Fees:
• Senior/Master teams $60 (Ben Avery gets $12 for each adult, $36 goes to Ben Avery per team)
• JOAD teams $45 (Ben Avery gets $12 for each archer 16 years and older)
100% refunds are available up to two weeks prior to tournament. 50% are available from two weeks prior to one week prior to tournament. No refunds available after one week prior to tournament
