JOAD archers using compound or recurve bows train to compete in club, local, regional and national tournaments with USA Archery certified instructors and coaches.  By competing at national tournaments, archers can earn a place on the U.S. Youth World Archery Team that competes against other countries.  Those archers who shoot a recurve bow can also tryout for a spot on the U.S. Olympic Archery team.

USA Archery has adopted the NTS Systemas the National Training method.  In our affiliation with USA Archery, Desert Sky Archers teaches and trains this process.
