2017 USA Archery Outdoor Nationals

Well, the 2017 Outdoor Nationals are in the books.  1200 Archers from The United States and around the world competed in Carmel Indiana.

It was a beautiful facility our 3 archers and 1 family member archer did an incredible job.  If you are wondering if your kids or are you ready to compete at this level, please watch our next update to the tournament recommendations list.  A few of Team DSA did not compete due to its close proximity to the start of the Arizona School Year.  I voiced my complaint about the date along with multiple other parent across the country.  Rumor has good news that the tournament will be moved to the second week in July with a strongly rumored location of Raleigh North Carolina.  Farther away but a cheaper plane flight usually.

Weather the first two days of practice and the first day of Qualification Rounds was beautiful.  The second day of QR saw 18mph constant winds with 25+mph gusts.  Dealing with the odd wind at the Ben Avery FITA Range helped out our archers in training for this challenge.
