2017 Indoor Nationals

Six Desert Sky Archers made the trip to Chula Vista for the Indoor Nationals.

Low Point, Coach Rick losing his wallet (he got it back!!!)

That is the only low point.

The rest are high points. Very High Points

Andrew Park finished 8th in the nation out of 174 archers, very strong performance in the difficult Recurve Cadet Male
Raley Morgan finished 23rd out of 88 archers, shooting awesome in the Recurve Junior Women
Tyler Bachman finished 44th out of 80 archers, incredible shooting in the Recurve Junior Men
William Benoit finished 66 out of 80 in the Compound Junior Men, almost all the archers averaged above a 9 per arrow. William did great!
Ryan Bachman finished 128 out of 164 in the Compound Cadet Men, this is the toughest division and again almost all the archers averaged above a 9 per arrow.
Devin Timson finished 155 out of 174 in Recurve Cadet Men, awesome performance in a tough division. His Best score in over a year.

All archers strive to shoot there personal bests at all times. However the added pressure of a tournament, let alone at a Nationals is a HUGE accomplishment.

The following archers shot there personal best in a Double 18 round (120 arrows)
Ryan Bachman
Tyler Bachman
William Benoit
Raley Morgan

We also want to congratulate our friends that occasionally shoot with us and we feel they are part of us at DSA
Spencer Yee 4th place Compound Cadet Men
Stone Hendrickson 5th place Compound Bowmen Men
Amanda Branch 7th place Compound Cub Women (Earning her BRONZE OLYMPIAN)

On top of the fun at the range DSA had fun at two dinners together and at the Bellemont Pier Amusement Park!

Please plan on joining us next year!!!!
